Salary: £33,677 - 42,094 FTE (£9,883.47 - £12,353.67 Actual)

Contract: Permanent, 6.75 hours a week teaching + 4.11 hours admin (1.5 days a week)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Music Production, Performance and Stage Craft to join our Digital and Creative team and help shape a new music curriculum delivered in partnership with Bristol Beacon.

About your role:

We are looking for a skilled and practical Sound Engineering Lecturer to deliver industry-relevant teaching across sound engineering, live sound and technical production.

This is a unique opportunity to teach in partnership with Bristol Beacon, one of Bristol’s most iconic cultural venues, and to help learners connect their technical learning to the city’s vibrant music, festival and live events industries.

You will support learners to develop confidence in areas such as live sound, signal flow, microphones, mixing, monitoring, recording, sound checks, troubleshooting and safe working practices. The role will also include some delivery with Festival Production learners, supporting joined-up learning across sound, music and live events.
